Prior to joining CodeRyte in 2003, Ms. DeLong worked as a coder at The Children's Hospital in Denver in the Department of Pediatric Surgery. Her primary specialty was pediatric surgery, which included general surgery, urology, burn and kidney and liver transplant. In addition to her duties as a coder, Ms. DeLong also performed physician education and denial research for the University Physicians at the University of Colorado.
