Bethesda, Maryland (June 2, 2005) - Two new customers have selected CodeRyte's cutting-edge medical technology to improve their coding operations, CodeRyte™, Inc. announced today. Rush University Medical Center and Affiliated Physicians will use CodeRyte's technology for hospital and physician radiology coding. The 729-bed medical center in Chicago also includes the 110-bed Johnston R. Bowman Health Center and Rush University, with one of the first medical colleges in the Midwest and one of the nation's top-ranked nursing colleges. The medical center is home to the team physicians for both the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls. The Baton Rouge Radiology Group in Baton Rouge, La., has also signed a contract to use CodeRyte's radiology application for physician coding. Started in 1951, the Baton Rouge Radiology Group was the city's first outpatient imaging center. "Industry leaders choose CodeRyte for our superior customer service, ability to integrate and enhance existing technologies, proof of improved accuracy and compliance with industry regulations, and more accurate reimbursements," said Andy Kapit, CEO of CodeRyte. "CodeRyte's technology facilitates the coding process without requiring physicians to change their practice patterns." CodeRyte's state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology reads a providers electronic medical note, identifies the complex language patterns related to each episode of care and uses those patterns to assign CPT-4 and ICD-9-CM codes. The application streamlines the workflow process, speeds the billing cycle and decreases delays in accounts receivable. CodeRytes customers include hospitals, practice management firms, specialty practices, billing firms and faculty practice plans. |
