Rapid growth continues for CodeRyte, Inc.

New clients in Q2 include hospitals, physician practices and billing companies

Bethesda, Md., July 19, 2007—CodeRyte, Inc., the health care industry’s premier provider of computer-assisted coding technology, maintained its dynamic growth trend in the second quarter of 2007 with new clients in all of its market segments. The new clients will use CodeRyte’s natural language processing technology and Web-enabled workflow software to maximize appropriate reimbursement, reduce denials, decrease outstanding account receivables and improve the efficiency of their coding organizations.

“Four academic medical centers, six large physician practices and two billing companies, representing almost six million annual reports, joined the CodeRyte family this quarter.  This signals success against our biggest competitor: the status quo,” said Andy Kapit, CodeRyte chief executive officer and leader of the company’s nearly 100-person staff. “Partnering with our new clients and our increasingly satisfied client base advances our vision to harness the power of clinical documentation and improve medical coding and performance.”

CodeRyte’s second quarter growth stemmed from expanding relationships with many of its existing clients and the addition of new clients throughout the physician practice, hospital and medical billing company market segments. New client highlights for the quarter include:

  • Drs. Hill & Thomas Co., a Northeastern Ohio practice with more than 20 radiologists, celebrating 100 years of unsurpassed patient care and quality professional services for area hospitals and outpatient imaging centers.  Drs. Hill & Thomas Co. has always been at the forefront of the industry, and teaming with CodeRyte will allow it to remain there by utilizing a proven system to gain a better outcome.
  • Practice Management Inc., a medical management and multi-specialty billing company with clients in eastern Oregon and southern Idaho, chose CodeRyte to improve productivity, maximize coding resources and enhance compliance as well as to streamline operations and leverage the technology’s management reporting capabilities.
  • Utah Radiology Associates, a Central and Southern Utah practice with 30 radiologists, including nine interventionalists, partnered with CodeRyte because of the technology’s proven ability to code quickly and accurately.

“We look at CodeRyte as a way to further enhance our expertise and provide better overall service to our clients,” said Jeff Kampman, chief financial officer of Drs. Hill & Thomas Co. “With the competitive nature of our business, we feel CodeRyte gives us an advantage which will translate into a better, stronger bottom line.”

“The technology CodeRyte provides will considerably shorten our turnaround time and increase our efficiency,” said Kathy Adams, CPC, Utah Radiology Associates reimbursement coordinator. “We chose CodeRyte because we see its technology as the future of coding.”
